Italy's Arsenale Group, already known for its high-end train La Dolce Vita Orient Express, has announced the total acquisition of Golden Eagle Luxury Trains, a historic British operator of exceptional rail travel on the European and Asian continents.

The deal-which involves a mix of cash payment (30 percent) and equity participation (70 percent)-aims to create a large international luxury rail hub, with business synergies, cost optimization, and route expansion.
Arsenal will invest about 15 million euros over the next five years to modernize Golden Eagle's fleet, with operational coordination between Dubai and Manchester.

With this move, Arsenale aims to capture a global market share in the high-end rail tourism segment of 42 percent.
Already included in the plan is the launch of the "Dream of the Desert," the first five-star convoy in Saudi Arabia, made with Italian carriages and with attention to the smallest stylistic details.
